Robbie and Bryan Wells visited the cemetery on Sunday May 30, 2022 and placed roses on some graves, including his mother's Dorothy Cramer Wells*. Also Aunt Edna Gonya was a very special aunt.

Robert "Bob" Henry Wells, 78, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away February 25, 2024.
Bob was born in Watertown, NY on March 16, 1945 to Arthur and Dorothy Wells. He was a 1963 graduate of Spring Valley High School in Rockland County. Bob was a life-time salesman working as a district sales manager for All-State Insurance Company for many years, with the majority of his career serving more recently with the George E. Hoare Memorial Co. in Watkins Glen, NY.
Bob was a dedicated friend and family man. He enjoyed coming back to Baldwinsville to spend time visiting with his family. He especially enjoyed traveling by car to Florida on a moment's notice, stopping along the way to visit with his many dear friends and family members. He was an avid car enthusiast, and always lit up when speaking of his beloved Corvettes. He told many fond stories about the vehicles he has owned over the years and the great memories they provided him. Bob was also a very proud and dedicated member of AA and put his heart and passion into helping others achieve the sobriety successes he enjoyed for more than 25 years.
Bob was preceded in death by Father, Arthur Jacob Wells and Mother, Dorothy Ruth (Cramer) Wells. Bob is survived by his former spouse Regina Celestian, Son, Bryan Wells, Daughter Cindy Yaple (Gary), Grandchildren Frankie (Dustin), Kristi (Lance), Jacob, Alyssa (Baker), Greyson, and his extended family of Mike (Sue), Dani (Jim), Nick, Ashlee (Rachel), and Ryan (Chelsey) and his many great grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm at Gates Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, NY where calling hours will be followed immediately by funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Boston, MA and Hospice of CNY.

We had the most beautiful send off for my dad today, it was exactly how he wanted it to be. Someone mentioned we had church, yoga and a dance party. He got to hear Freebird and Time for me to fly, "loud enough so he could hear it." We love him and will miss him forever, but know he is up there driving in his little red corvette.
